Police reported injuries for a shooting incident in Newark's South Ward on Sunday night.
Authorities said at approximately 8:50 p.m, officers responded to reports of a person shot in the 70's block of Ludlow.
Police arrived and found a male victim suffering a non-life-threatening bullet wound in his hand.
The victim was transported to University Hospital for treatment and is expected to make a full recovery.
Circumstances behind the shooting have not been released by police at this time.
