Police reported no injuries in a shot-fired incident in Newark's North Ward on Saturday evening.
According to police, at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of shots fired on South Cedar Lane.
Units arrived at the scene and found several shell casings and a car struck by bullets at that location.
Police say the vehicle was unoccupied and a search of the complex resulted in no gunshot victims.
The suspect fled the scene and is at large.
