Police in Newark recovered property damage in a shots-fired incident that occurred on a highway in Newark on Thursday afternoon.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to reports of shots fired on Route 1&9 in Newark around 2:50 p.m.
Officers arrived and found a car struck by bullets at that location.
Police say two cars occupied by armed males reportedly exchanged gunfire before speeding away from the scene.
There were no injuries reported and the suspects are at-large.
