Officials said officers helped a 2-year-old shooting victim Thursday night when they rushed the girl to University Hospital following the incident at 85-95 Cabinet Street.

Police responded to that location at 11:09 p.m.and saw the child had been shot along with two adults, a man and a woman who were also transported to the hospital.
“We’re fortunate that this incident did not turn out to be more tragic than it already is as we continue to get guns off our streets," Director Ambrose said. “I’m grateful that our officers were there to help save the life of this child."
This incident is under investigation.
Sources told RLS Media that EMS units throughout the city has been sporadic and few.
