There were no injuries reported in a shots-fired incident in a Newark South Ward community on Sunday night.
Police say the shooting happened just before 9:45 p.m. in the vicinity of 131 Grumman Avenue.
Residents dialed 911 when they heard multiple gun blasts that rang out in the neighborhood, according to police. When officers arrived, they found shell casings on the ground, but no victims were found.
The suspects fled the scene and remain at-large.
