Police are investigating a shooting that left three people injured in the city overnight.
Gunfire rang out in the 300 block of Virginia Ave. shortly before 3:30 a.m. sending police and EMS to the scene where they found three people shot at that location.
The most seriously injured was a male victim found shot to the mouth and rushed to Jersey City Medical Center in critical condition. The other two victims suffered gun shot wounds to the leg and side.
Police are looking for a several suspects occupying a silver BMW.
