There were non-fatal injuries reported for a shooting that sent one person to the hospital in Newark early Tuesday morning.
According to police, at approximately 2:20 a.m., gunfire rang out in the vicinity of 362 Hunterdon Street.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a male victim suffering a bullet wound in his buttocks at that location.
Police say the victim was transported to University Hospital for treatment and is expected to make a full recovery.
The suspects fled the scene and remain at-large.
There were no other injuries reported.
