There was one third-tier prize-winning ticket sold for the Tuesday, August 18, Mega Millions drawing that matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball, winning the $10,000 prize.
That ticket was purchased at Valley Discount at 598 Chews Landing Rd. in Lindenwold in Camden County.
The winning numbers for the Tuesday, August 18, drawing were: 04, 18, 26, 27, and 58. The Gold Mega Ball was 23, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 04.
In addition to the second and third-tier prizes won, 18 players matched four of the five white balls drawn making each ticket worth $500. Three of those tickets were purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prizes to $2,000.
Moreover, 18,274 other New Jersey players took home $93,034 in prizes ranging from $2 to $800.
The next drawing will be held Friday, August 21, at 11:00 pm.
