Police officials in Newark request the public’s help in identifying a suspected vehicle wanted in connection with an aggravated assault shooting that occurred on Monday.
Police said at approximately 4:45 p.m. a man was shot in the 500 block of Clinton Avenue by suspects who fired a weapon from a gray 2013 Mercedes-Benz E class vehicle with a panoramic sunroof.
The victim walked into the 5th Precinct and was transported to University Hospital for treatment according to police.
Detectives investigating this incident seek the public’s help in quickly identifying this vehicle and its occupants as part of this investigation.
