Police are looking into a pedestrian strike that occurred at a location in Perth Amboy Saturday night.
According to police, at approximately 10:30 p.m., emergency responders found the unidentified injured pedestrian in the 400 block of Smith Street.
Police said the victim was transported to the hospital in serious but stable condition after being struck by the vehicle.
The driver reportedly stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
There were no other injuries reported.
