EMS rushed an unidentified person struck by a vehicle to Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center suffering severe injuries Monday night.
According to a preliminary investigation, the victim was struck by a vehicle in the 900 block of Somerset Street around 10:17 p.m.
When emergency responders arrived at the scene, they found the unconscious and unresponsive victim then began CPR.
The incident is under investigation.
