Detectives from The Union County Prosecutor’s Office are leading the investigation into a deadly shooting that occurred at a location in Linden Tuesday morning.
According to a preliminary investigation, police were called to the vicinity of Baltimore and East Curtis Street to investigate reports of shots fired before 9:30 a.m.
Units arrived and found an adult male shot multiple times at that location.
The victim was pronounced dead by medical professionals a short time later.
Police set up a crime scene where detectives searched the area for evidence.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation. No arrests have been reported.
