Police in Paterson are looking for the suspect who fired a shot on a street in the early Sunday morning.
According to police, a ShotSpotter activation detected a shooting in the vicinity of 245 River Street at approximately 5:45 a.m.
Officers arrived at the scene found a single shell casing in the neighborhood, but after a further search, police did not locate a suspect at that location.
Police say the suspects fled the scene on foot and remain at-large.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
