Police in Newark are on the search for suspects wanted for a shooting that occurred at a location in the city on Friday evening.
According to police, the victim was approached by suspects who demanded his vehicle on South 13th Street just before 4:45 p.m.
Police say one of the suspects fired a gun in the direction of the victim that struck him.
The victim was transported to the hospital in an unknown conditon and the suspects fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle according to police.
Police are actively investigating the incident.
