Officials in Mercer County are on the search for a suspect wanted for an overnight shooting that occurred in a neighborhood in Trenton.
According to police, gunfire rang out in the 100 block of Hoffman Avenue shortly before midnight where officer responded to investigate.
Upon arrival, units found a male victim suffering a bullet wound in his leg at that location.
The victim was rushed to the hospital where doctors treated non-life threatening injuries.
The motive for the shooting has not been determined at this time.
