One person is suffering injuries after a shooting that occurred on Fremont Place in Jersey City this evening.
According to police, several rounds of gunfire rang out at approximately 6 p.m. where arriving officers found the seriously injured victim suffering bullet wounds.
Police requested EMS while detectives canvassed the scene searching for evidence to support a motive for the shooting.
There are no arrests reported at this time.
