Police conducted a thorough search in the 100 block of Irvine Turner Boulevard for evidence and the suspect/s that fired several round from a gun, striking a man early this morning.
The victim walked into University Hospital around 5 a.m. this morning suffering a gunshot wound to the arm. The man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Newark Police are investigating the motive for the shooting.
