Police ID Camden Man Stabbed to Death in Gloucester City

Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Gloucester City Police Chief Brian Morrell reported a homicide in the Gloucester City last night.

Gloucester City Police responded to the 700 block of Bertwood Avenue in Gloucester City at approximately 7:58 p.m. for reports of a injured man.

When officers arrived, they found Alexander Medina, 20, of Camden, on the ground.

Officials say Alexander Medina was transported to Cooper University Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 9:32 p.m.

The investigation into the stabbing is ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
