Police in Newark requests the public’s help in locating the below pictured vehicle in connection with a carjacking that occurred on Friday.
Police say shortly after 2:10 p.m., a man was shot following a quarrel at Lincoln Park and Pennsylvania Avenue.
The victim was transported to University Hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury according to a tatement released by Police.
Police also observed property damage related to this incident in the area.
Detectives investigating this incident obtained video footage of a male exiting the driver’s rear passenger seat of a newer model, charcoal gray Acura TSX or TL with no front plate.
The vehicle has tinted windows and a malfunctioning right rear tail light.
The vehicle was last seen traveling away from the scene, heading north on Thomas Street, then west on Clinton Avenue according to the statement.
While police are actively searching for these suspects and this vehicle, we seek the public’s help in quickly locating them and removing them from our streets.
This investigation is continuing.
