There are injuries reported for a shooting that occurred in a Newark neighborhood a short time ago.
Preliminary reports coming into our information space has police in the vicinity of 11th Street and 11th Avenue after gunmen fired multiple rounds from a vehicle and connected on at least one person at around 9:30 a.m.
Police believe that one other person may have been struck by gunfire and have placed hospitals and police departments in the region on notice for possible walk-in victims.
According to reports, a silver or light colored car fired occupied by two suspects fired off rounds in the area then sped towards Central Avenue.
There is a crime scene established an active investigation underway. The condition of the victim has not been released at this time.

Avoid the area for the investigation. The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
