Police in Paterson are on the search for a suspect who fired shots occupants of a car in a city neighborhood overnight.
The incident occurred in the 500 block of East 24th Street shortly before 12:30 a.m. Thursday where police responded to reports of shots fired at that location.
Several police officers arrived at the scene and found evidence that a shooting occurred by no victim was found after officers searched the scene.
The suspect reportedly opened fire on a vehicle, for an unknown reason, before running from the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
