Police in Newark are investigating shots fired incident that caused property damaged in the city's West Ward Monday night.
Reports of shots fired sent police to the 70's block of North Munn Avenue at around 10:30 p.m. where officers arrived and found evidence that a shooting occurred but no injured victims were located.
Officers canvassing the area found that a bullet struck a window then connected to a wall of an apartment according to reports.
Police are investigating a motive for the shooting.
