Shooting Injures Paterson Man

Authorities are investigating a shooting that injured a 36-year-old Paterson man over the weekend.

According to authorities, at approximately 12:38 a.m. on October 28th, members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of 291 Hamilton Avenue on a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival, police found a possible crime scene but no victim in the area.

Shortly thereafter, officers were advised that a 36-year-old Paterson man arrived to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson for treatment of a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
