BREAKING NEWARK NJ: $10K Reward For Information Leading to Arrest of Suspect Who Shot 6-Year-Boy in Newark

Newark Mayor Ras J. Baraka and Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose are announcing up to a $10,000 reward for information leading to the scene of those responsible for the shooting of two adult males and a 6-year old boy that occurred today at Central Avenue and 3rd Street.

According to authorities, the shooting happened approximately 5:45 p.m., when three victims were shot and transported to University Hospital.

Officials said all the victims are listed in stable condition.

Director Ambrose stated, “we are looking for the public's helping in bringing the individual(s) that committed this cowardice act to justice.” “There is no reason for these people to be allowed to remain free and through our “Crime Stoppers” program we are offering up to a **$10,000 reward,** said Ambrose.

Director Ambrose said, at this early juncture of this investigation we have very little information on the suspects or motive at this time.

This investigation is active and ongoing.
