Authorities are investigating a shooting incident that occurred overnight in Newark.
The incident was reported shortly before 10 p.m. in the 60's block of South 9th Street where Newark Police officers responded to reports of shots fired.
Units arrived at the scene to find a house damaged after a bullet struck it according to reports.
There were no immediate reports of injuries and a motive for the shooting is under investigation.
