A reported overnight shooting in the southern portion of the city sent a 15-year-old boy to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
EMS responded to the area of Schely and Nye Ave. shortly before 2AM and found the victim reportedly shot in the the thigh.
The boy was taken to University Hospital where he is expected to make a full recovery.
A police investigation is underway into the motive for the shooting and search for a possible suspect.
In a separate incident, police are investigating a shooting that left a man seriously injured overnight. The victim reportedly walked into University Hospital shortly before 2AM, suffering from a gunshot wound to the shoulder. Police focused their invetsigation and setup a crime scene in the area of Hayes Street between 14th Ave. and 15th Ave.
The suspect/s are still at-large.
