A double shooting that occurred in Newark this evening has two people injured and police investigating.
The latest shooting happened in the area of Leslie Street and Clinton Avenue at around 9:35 p.m. where officers arrived at the scene and located a male victim shot in the 50's block of Voorhees Street.
The victim's injuries were not reported as life threatening.
Bullets also struck the window of a store at that location.
In the second shooting incident, gunfire rang out in the 30 block of New Street at around 8 p.m. sending police to the scene where they found a male victim struck by gunfire at that location.
EMS transported the victim to University Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
Both shootings are under investigation.
There are no motives or arrests made.
