Police in Paterson are investigating a shooting that had one person injured in the city overnight.
Reports of shots fired sent police to the 200 block of Governor Street shortly before 10:30 a.m. where officers located a male victim shot at that location.
The victim, who was reported to be a teenager, was transported to St. Josephs Hospital and listed in stable condition.
Police searched Keen Street for a crime scene and other evidence.
The shooting is under investigation by the Paterson Police Department.
