Police are on the scene of a shooting with a male victim down at this time in the city.
Reports of shots fired that rang out near the Bradley Court Housing Complex had police in the 40's block of Maybaum at around 11:30 a.m. where officers set up a crime scene near a store after locating the victim suffering a gunshot wound to the abdomen according to reports.
The victim was transported to University Hospital where the extent of his injuries have not been released.
Police are currently investigating a motive for the shooting.
UPDATE 4:15 p.m. The victim is in critical condition.
There were no arrests immediately reported.
