Mt. Laurel Man Charged for His Role in Fraudulent Loan Modification Deal

Mount Laurel Township

The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Collingswood Police Department are investigating a fraudulent loan modification deal.

Scott Feltman, of Mt. Laurel, has been charged with one count of third-degree theft by deception.

Feltman is alleged to have signed a contract with the victim to act as the mortgage broker for a loan modification. Operating under the name Baymar Capital Funding LLC, he took money from the victim for over two years, never applying the money towards the victim’s mortgage. The victim was ultimately evicted from the residence.

Detectives believe there could be more victims who have not come forward.

If you or someone you know has had dealings with Feltman, Baymar Capital, or you have information related to this type of fraudulent activity, you are urged to contact the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Sergeant Michael Molle at 856-225-8674.
