A late night shooting in Newark left a man in his late 30's injured after being shot twice in the leg. Police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of West Kinney and Irving Turner Boulevard around 11:30 PM where a crime scene was set up near a parking lot to search for evidence connected to the shooting .
The victim was reportedly was found at his residence a short distance away on the 100 block of Eagle Parkway where he was rushed to University Hospital in stable condition.
There was no description of the suspect given.
