A male victim who is suffering a gunshot wound to the back is being transported to Jersey City Medical Center at this time.
Police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the 200 block of Martin Luther King Drive shortly before 6 p.m. where arriving units found the man shot according to initial reports.
The extent of the man's injury is unavailable at this time.
