An early morning shooting in Newark's South Ward has police investigating.
There were no injuries or property damage reported after a gunman fired off at least two rounds in the 100 block of Hillside Avenue shortly before 1:30 a.m. according to reports.
Police arrived to the area where a thorough search had cops locate shell casings and other evidence.
The motive for the shooting has not been determined by authorities.
