Police are on the scene of a shooting with a man injured in the city's North Ward at this time.
Gunfire erupted in the 400 block of North 5th Street shortly before 6 p.m. sending police to the scene where a male victim suffered injuries after being shot at that location.
The victim was transported via private vehicle to Clara Maass Hospital where his condition was reported as serious at this time.
Police are looking for two hispanic males who were observed running from the scene.
One of the men was wearing red shorts and a white shirt according to reports.
Police have a crime scene established and an investigation underway.
