A broad daylight shooting Wednesday afternoon in Jersey City that left an 18-year-old teen critically injured, has police investigating.
Police responded Oak Street near Martin Luther King Drive shortly after 3 p.m., for a report of a shooting.
According to city spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill, upon arrival police found a teen shot once in the chest. He was transported to Jersey City Medical Center-RWJBarnabas in critical but stable condition.
Officials added that the shooting remains under investigation.
