Injured man arrives to Trinitas in Elizabeth with gunshot wounds.
Officers responded to reports of numerous gunshots fired in the area of 555 Westminster Ave.
Shortly after, Trinitas Hospital notified police that a gunshot victim had just arrived to ER, police said.
Lawrence Alecine, 24, of Roselle was transferred to University Hospital in Newark where he was admitted in critical condition.
Police recovered several shell casings in the immediate and surrounding area.
