Separate shootings in Paterson left two people hospitalized in the city overnight.
In the first incident, gunfire erupted in the 60's block of North Main Street sending police to the scene where officers located one person suffering a gunshot injury to the arm according to reports.
The victim was transported by EMS to St. Joseph's Hospital where their injury was not reported as life threatening.
Police believe that the suspects fired from a moving vehicle as they work to determine the motive.
A male victim that walked into St. Joseph's Hospital at around 11:45 a.m. who was suffering injury from gunfire had hospital officials contact police.
The victim reported to authorities that he was shot in the 40's block of Jefferson Street shortly before going to the hospital.
His injuries were reported ad non-life threatening reports said.
