Police are on the scene of a shooting with one person injured in the city at this time.
Hospital officials at Jersey City Medical Center reportedly contacted police when a person arrived at the emergency department ,via private vehicle , suffering injury from gunfire at around 7:45 p.m.
Police checked the area of Martin Luther King Drive and Grant Avenue they located evident of a shooting according to reports.
The victim is said to be suffering serious injuries.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
