Paterson authorities are investigating a shooting that left one person injured early this morning in the city.
Hospital officials at the St. Joseph's Hospital contacted police when a male victim walked into the emergency department suffering a gunshot wound to the arm according to reports.
The victim reported to police that while he was walking down the street, two male suspects approached and opened fire on him, striking him in the arm.
Police searched the area and located a crime scene but there were no suspects arrested.
The incident remains under investigation.
