Police are on the scene of a shooting with a male victim down in the city at this time.
Multiple rounds of gunfire rang out in the 20's block of Astor Street at around 4:20 p.m. sending police to the scene where they found a male victim injured by gunfire.
EMS rushed the victim to University Hospital where he is was reportedly struck several time and in serious condition.
There is possibly one other person who was struck by gunfire and transported via private vehicle to the hospital suffering non-life threatening injuries.
Police have a crime scene established and an investigation underway.
UPDATE 4:53 p.m. A third victim has been transported by private vehicle to the hospital.
UPDATE 6:45 p.m. This is a confirmed homicide investigation.
