Man who Allegedly Fired a Gun in Newark Wanted by Police

Police in Newark is requesting the public’s help seeking an individual who committed a shooting at the 400 block of Central Avenue.

Acording to Public Safety Director Anthony Ambrose, no one was injured at the time of the incident when the suspect arrived in the area and fired several rounds before fleeing the scene.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual who they say will pose a threat to residents until he is arrested.

This investigation is active and ongoing.
