Investigators in Jersey City are looking into a shooting that sent a man to the hospital overnight.
The shooting happened at around 11 p.m. in the 500 block of Bergen Avenue when police were called to the scene for reports of shots fired.
Officers arrived to find a male victim suffering apparent gunshot wounds to the arm and back according to reports.
The victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center where his injuries were not considered life threatening.
At this time, there are no reports of arrest made.
Police are investigating a motive for the shooting.
