The Linden High School Marching Band was selected to represent New Jersey in the 2014 National Memorial Day Parade in Washington DC, on May 26, 2014.

The marching band was nominated by Congressman Donald Payne Jr. and selected by the official parade committee.

It will be nationally syndicated to more than 80 million households on The Pentagon Channel and Discovery Network’s Military Channel. More importantly, it will be broadcast live to all the American Troops stationed around the world.

In addition, more than 250,000 people watch the parade live each year and it is covered by 400 media outlets.
