There is an active investigation underway as police look into the circumstances behind a shooting that injured a woman on Thursday night in Englewood.
According to reports, police were called to the vicinity of 33 Mattlage Place after receiving reports of a person shot at that location.
Units arrived at the scene found a female victim suffering gunshot wounds to her feet according to reports.
Police say EMS transported the victim to an area hospital where doctors treated her non-life threatening injuries.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation and there were no arrests reported.
