Woman Found Dead Inside Camden County Apartment

Camden, N.J. — Detectives are investigating a homicide that happened at an apartment complex on the 2000 block of the White Horse Pike on March 9, according to Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Lindenwold Police Chief Michael P. McCarthy Jr.

Police were called to the apartments around 5:30 p.m. to find a 46-year-old victim dead inside one of the units from multiple injuries.

According to officials, detectives are investigating the events that led up to the crime.

Police have identified a person of interest who is currently detained.
