The Cumberland County Prosecutors Office announced that on August 26, 2022, Rodney Green, 53, of Willingboro, was convicted by a Cumberland County Jury during a one-week trial before the Honorable Cristen P. D’Arrigo.
The jury found Green guilty of second-degree Robbery.
According to officials, the charges originated from an incident that occurred on September 29, 2020. On this date, Green entered Rite Aid on 907 North High Street and demanded money from a cashier.
Green threatened to kill the cashier and everyone else in the store if the money was not turned over. Two hundred and forty dollars was handed to Green.
County officials said that the investigation was conducted by members of the Millville Police Department.
Sentencing is scheduled for October 28, 2022. The Defendant faces a sentence of up to twenty years in prison.
