A Westfield man attempting to cross the street was seriously injured after he was struck by a car this morning, police said.
Police responded to Kenilworth Boulevard near Lenape Park in Cranford for a report of pedestrian struck shortly before 10 a.m.
The driver, a 21-year-old Kenilworth woman, was traveling westbound, when she struck the man.
The man was transported to University Hospital in Newark with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
No charges have been filed against the driver, who remained at the scene, according to police.
The incident remains under investigation.
