Alice Trye, 25, is a second-year medical student at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.

According to Alice, at a very young age, she had an interest in science. Alice said as she got older, her love and excitement for medicine grew intensely.

Alice is passionate about global health and women's health and plans to incorporate both of those fields into her career as a future physician.

Alice's advice for young people, especially young girls of color, is "Know that you can do anything you put your mind to and be relentless in making your dreams a reality."
