Jersey City authorities are searching for a suspect wanted for a shooting in a section of the city Thursday night.
Several units responded to reports of shots fired on Wegman Parkway around 7:50 p.m.
Officers arrived and found multiple shell casings, but no victims were located after cops searched the scene.
Police say the suspect fled the scene and has not been captured at this time.
The circumstances behind the shooting are under an active investigation.
