Warrants Issued for Three Men Wanted for Alleged Attacks, Threats on Women in Newark

Police in Newark seeks the public’s help in locating Mr. Devon Thomas, 26, and Mr. Hector Florentino-Cabrera, 29, both of Newark, and Mr. Luqman Williams, 39, of East Orange, who are each wanted for Domestic Violence violations in separate incidents.

According to police, on Wednesday, October 31st, 2018, an unidentified woman said that her life was threatened by a man that she knows.

Police investigating this incident, secured a warrant the arrest of Devon Thomas on charges of Terroristic Threats, Theft and Contempt.

In a another incident, police say on Sunday, October 7th, a woman was assaulted by a man she knows following a quarrel.

Police developed sufficient evidence to secure a warrant for the suspect’s arrest. Police say Hector Florentino-Cabrera is wanted on charges of Aggravated Assault and Simple Assault in this incident.

According to police on Friday, August 31st, a man kicked at the door, damaging the door frame and lock, at the residence of a woman he knows.

Police say the suspect, Luqman Williams, is wanted for Aggravated Assault, Criminal Mischief and Criminal Restraint.

These charges are merely accusations.

Each suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

While police are actively searching for Thomas, Florentino-Cabrera and Williams, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing them from Newark streets.
